We play a critical role in the movement for more inclusion for people with disabilities. Everyone deserves a full and meaningful life, with the dignity to choose their own path and live a life of connection. So, we work tirelessly to change perceptions, provide opportunities, and create connections that enrich our communities. We champion change by opening doors to lives of purpose, connection, and contribution. We do that by listening and meeting people where they are — supporting them to make choices about how they want to build a meaningful life. With those insights, we can be intentional with unique social programs, education that transforms attitudes and behaviors, and customized employment services. All so that everyone in our community thrives.
Adults with disabilities are no different when it comes to wanting a meaningful life. They want to contribute, utilize their talents and skills, and feel needed. They just need to find the right setting and someone to appreciate their efforts. That’s where we shine. By leveraging our experience, process, and connections, our highly successful customized employment model matches capable workers with businesses looking for skilled employees. We do a deep dive into identifying the interests, strengths, and conditions for success for each individual. We then analyze the interested business to understand their needs, processes, and environment to create the ideal fit. We only move forward if it’s a perfect match for all parties. Which is why we are proud to say we have placed over 185 individuals in competitively paid positions in inclusive work settings. When it comes to enjoying a full and meaningful life, employment isn’t enough. Our model supports individuals with the activities that add richness and joy to life.
