Advocacy Unlocked LLC

At Advocacy Unlocked, our mission is to empower families of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to navigate the special education system successfully. We believe that every child deserves an education tailored to their unique needs, and every parent deserves the tools to advocate effectively on their child’s behalf. With over 14 years of experience, we combine professional expertise with a compassionate, family-centered approach to remove barriers and unlock access to inclusive opportunities.

We serve families whose students have a wide range of disabilities, with a strong focus on IDD. Our services include direct advocacy for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans, support with evaluations, and assistance in securing critical services such as ABA therapies in school settings. We also provide workshops, coaching, and digital resources to guide families in areas like documentation, communication strategies, and effective advocacy. Beyond working with parents, we partner with schools to provide staff training that builds capacity for supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in meaningful, inclusive ways.

By equipping families and schools with the right knowledge, strategies, and tools, Advocacy Unlocked ensures that students with IDD are not only supported but positioned to thrive. Our work reflects a commitment to equity, collaboration, and measurable outcomes that improve the lives of children and families across Washington State and beyond.
